So what do you think of this list of 21 Free Lace Knitting Patterns for Beginners? The thing to remember about lace patterns is that they are designed to have ‘gaps’ in the stitching on purpose. Most of the gaps can be created by simple yarn overs. These designs are definitely geared more toward warmer seasons, since the airy texture won’t keep the cold away as much.
