Simple Hygge Gift Wrap and Tags

I’ve got adorable wrapping paper for you today and it’s free! Yay! Here at A Box of Twine I’m always striving to provide simple and quick crafts to make. The resulting projects often make lovely handmade gifts for others. That leads me to come up with ways to wrap the gifts. And what better way than simple Hygge style gift wrap & tags?

Simple Hygge Gift Wrap

If you have a sweet little gift box, this wrap will add the perfect touch. It’s got a classic Scandinavian and Hygge feel, with simple greenery, wood stars, and paper tags. The pattern could be used all year long, for any occasion. I love versatility, don’t you?

You simply print out the pattern onto 8.5″ by 11″ regular paper, then cut to fit your small gift box. Regular printer paper is best, since you want it thin enough to fold around the box.

Fold at the corners of the box and use tape to fasten.

That’s it! Now all you need to finish off the gift is a little twine.

Simple Hygge Gift Tags

I also have a free printable for similar styled gift tags. There are 6 tags on one page.

It’s best to print out the page on thick card stock and cut out the 6 tags. The tags will be sturdier this way. Punch a hole, then attach the tags with string or twine.

The gift tags coordinate well with simple brown kraft paper. Similar to the gift wrap, these could be used for any occasion, so they would be great to have on hand for last-minute gifts.
