Budget Shopping – Lavender and Farmhouse Style

Lavender (dried and fresh) always brings to my mind a cottage and farmhouse feel. I can envision stems harvested from a farmhouse field garden and hung to dry in a barn. The aroma of the lavender would infuse white linen sheets and sachets, always providing a soothing balm for the soul and sweet dreams at night.
When I was planning my blog posts for April, I wanted to give lavender its due. You may have guessed that theme with the fresh lavender I put in my ‘aged’ terracotta pots, the dried lavender on my spring table setting, as well as the knit pattern for a lavender sachet.
