Before we know it the leaves will be turning and the air will turn crisp. Fall will be in the air! Although the rhythm of this particular season will feel quite different this year due to COVID-19, we can attempt to hold on to a warm autumn feeling. I find that focusing on simple routines that embrace the season’s changes help to make life feel more normal. For me that will include decorating and baking for autumn. Designing autumn art has been a blessing lately, as it helps to remind me of life’s small gifts, especially found in nature. Our family is looking forward to picking fresh apples (or at least purchasing them if that’s not possible) and gathering pumpkins, baking apple pies, and snuggling up with warm throw blankets and a good book.
