Make this EASY Boho Style Crochet Necklace!
Spring and summer fashions demand bold statements. Do you agree? I’m usually a neutral & classic style gal, but I do enjoy bold & colorful accessories during the warm weather months. Lately I’ve been drawn toward Boho style accessories, and decided to come up with a simple pattern for a Boho style crochet necklace. I was trying to use yarn already in my stash while avoiding having to purchase jewelry supplies. If you have some favorite cotton yarn on hand and a half hour or so to spend, you can make one of these crochet necklaces!
Wear the Boho necklace with a simple white shirt to stand out, or mix it up with a more festive pattern. It will go with anything! The necklace would also make a sweet gift for a teen Boho fashionista. My teenage years are far behind me, but my daughter approves of this necklace. π
Now, let’s get those creative hands of yours moving and give the Boho necklace crochet pattern a try.

Fasten off. Weave in ends.
Add Chain
Cut 2 strands of yarn, approximately 36β each (for a long necklace). Feel free to cut them to a shorter length if you would like your necklace to hang higher.
Fold each 36β chain yarn in half, then loop through top corners of necklace piece.
Knot 4 strands of chain together at desired length to hang over your head & secure behind your neck.
Add Tassel to Crochet Necklace (optional)
Cut 6 strands of yarn that are 9β long each. (Cut more if youβd like a fuller tassel)
Fold strands in half.
Starting with 1st strand, push loop from front to back of bottom circle of crochet piece, and pull strand through center of loop.
Continue with 4 other strands evenly distributed.
Lay last strand of yarn across front of other strands.
Turn piece over, and tie tassel together with this last strand (using double knot to secure).
Trim tassel ends evenly.
Wear your Boho crochet necklace!
You could choose to keep the necklace simple, with no tassel. The finished crochet piece measures approximately 3.5″ wide by 4″ tall without the tassel.
But feel free to add the tassel for fun! It will make the necklace even longer and more dramatic. The finished crochet piece with the tassel is 3.5″ wide by 7″ tall.
I hope you will enjoy keeping your hands busy with this quick crochet necklace pattern this season. Let me know if you get any compliments on your handiwork. Send me photos, too!
